Lake Powell Fishing Report – 4-28-18 by Capt. Bill

Longtime “BRO” Mel and Trina. Thanks for coming Buddy we have missed you!

For the next 2 weeks,

Stripers – use baite (anchovies) which has picked up somewhat at the dam but expect 50/50 fish quality. Better fish are in the depth range of 70′ total depths adjacent to drop off channels in side canyons.

Nice catch April 2018

Smallmouth – Still allot on the beds right now on the beach of broken rock and weeks. Pumpkin 4 oz jig tubes- best.

Walleye- are the stumble on fish fishing for bass and the tubes work fine as well same color

Stripers on the fly should be good through June both chumming and blind casting for cruisers in backs of canyons and main channel.

Father & Son

Tight lines,

Capt. Bill
