Lake Powell Fishing Report April 28, 2019 by Capt. Bill

Fish are biting extremely well and all “species” and all methods of fishing including fly fishing. Water temps are ideal with low-mid 60’s.

If you are planning a trip, book soon even into Fall as we are booking out fast this year with our regular fishing trips and our Lake Powell Experience trip (half fishing – half sight seeing). For those who want the best of both worlds.
Castle Rock cut is still not open but with the warmer temps we should start to see a steady stream of water coming in.  You an expect an extra 1 hour to get through the main channel and back to the canyons and the channel “is rough” with all the boats and tour boats.
Tight Lines,

Capt. Bill
