Lake Powell Update 3-23-2020
Lake Powell update: Lake Powell is open with the cut even open at 20′. It is wide open space out on Lake Powell and a great way to to be out in the “fresh air” . Many people are calling to see if we are open and yes we are. We do not have large groups on our boats. Maximum 5 including Captain (we normally can do 7 but taking great precaution). Hand sanitizer of course and boat is cleaned after any trip thoroughly. Read More +

Lake Powell Fishing October 20, 2019 by Capt. Bill
Current fishing conditions are a 50/50 toss up on stripers. One day we are catching alot and the next day (zero). Small & largemouth early morning top water and trolling has produced some nice fish 1-3 lbs. The fish are the bonus as this is the best time to see and experience the quest and the grandeur of Lake Powell. A majestic Lake. A few pics from my trip Wednesday! Tight Lines, Capt. Bill
Lake Powell Fishing Report September 30, 2019
Lake Powell Fishing Report 9-30-19 “It’s on the fringe” but for the fish that are stuffed to the gills they are pretty fussy. We are watching 1 day on boils only if they get hungry. If after boiling activity, trolling activity will produce more fat fish and I mean “fat”. Smallmouth are mixed in with the boils and are the 1-3 lb. fish. A 2lb. smallmouth will pull a 2lb. striper backwards and they are fighters as well. September Fishing is rated 50/50 depending on Read More +

The fish are only active at very specific times to the day as to feeding and will improve as temps decline further. My summary for October Read More +

Unless it gets severely colder, I can usually count on a window for stripers to fee in the shallows. For Spring we have a wait and see to observe as to what is in store because of the lack of snow “so far” in the Rockies this year. A low run off will be a fair bait bite as Read More +
