So What’s the Good News Fishing Report” First off, Bookings are up and room rates are down!  Short stay and closer to home trips are in order.  Less traffic on Lake Powell for that “fashion pristine” Lake Powell experience.  The big bonus is fish are in the most prime condition not seen in decades.  Our equipment is up and running so don’t let cabin fever get you as there are fish to catch on beautiful Lake Powell.   Capt Bill

Wayne’s Words Lake Powell Fishing Report 6-06-12

  My weekly fishing trip was one day after a full moon and a big windstorm.  I wasn’t expecting much but was pleased to find cooperative smallmouth and striped bass. Stripers were feeding on plankton near the surface at the edge of the brush line.   They seemed to be slightly deeper than last week with most hits coming where bottom depth was 25-30 feet.
